The museum’s photo archive includes millions of negatives and photographs.  The collections are among the largest in Finland. The collections includes inter alia negatives from Jakobstads fotografiatelier, Julia Widgrens atelier, Atljé Strandberg, City-Foto and Studio Jacob. The museum also documents surroundings and buildings that are about to disappear. Please be in contact in time with the archive staff before your planned visit to the photo archive.
